EPISODE 9: HOPPER VS THE DEMOGORGON

Typically, storyboards are very quick drawings made in black in white without a lot of detail. For big complicated sequences, I prefer to use 3d to more accurately pitch camera angles to the directors and DP. The problem with this technique is the amount of time it takes to build assets, create characters, pose them and light each setup myself. It may be overkill, but the time given to shoot things is so tight in TV, that any problems I can uncover beforehand can be beneficial.
